Christmas M&M Cookies

Kids love them. Adults (secretly) love them. Aside from the chocolate chip cookie, these Christmas M&M cookies may be the next most universally adored cookies. They are extra fun around the holidays!

Did you have a favorite color M&M? According to this website, Mars posted the distribution of M&M colors produced: 24% blue, 14% brown, 16% green, 20% orange, 13% red, and 14% yellow M&M’s. This information is no longer available to be verified, so you’ll have to prepare your own stats.

The good news is that during the holiday season, you get buy bags of your very own red and green M&Ms.

These cookies bake just like any other drop cookie. The key to perfectly placed M&Ms is to add them individually atop the pre-baked dough and also insert them just after they come out from the oven.

While you are waiting for the first batch to bake, you can play with your M&Ms.

This is a great recipe and could be easily adapted to your favorite holiday or celebration by changing the M&M colors. I hope you enjoy them!
