I am a self confessed beauty junkie. My interest in beauty products really sparked during my first pregnancy with Madelyn a few years ago. I couldn’t shop for clothes due to a growing belly, so I shopped for makeup!
Since then, I’ve slowly amassed a collection of beauty products that I carefully test and edit every month. This year, I decided it was time to share more of my love for all things beauty on the blog. I’ve broken it down into lips, eyes, cheeks and tools.
LIPS:
Tom Ford Lip Color Shine in Frolic
I splurged on a Tom Ford lipstick this month and I am so glad that I did! It is the most luxurious formula and “Frolic” is the nicest, subtle pink. Don’t laugh, but I took a photo to show you! I’m very seriously in love with this lip color.
EYES:
I finally gave up my quest for a perfect concealer and went back to the first concealer I ever used! I have found nothing (yet) like this Bobbi Brown concealer that can tame my under eye circles.
CHEEKS:
I have an entire palette of MAC blushes, but I have been a bit underwhelmed with them. I tested a sample of Stila Convertible Color and loved it! It’s very easy to blend out for a more natural look. And, it doesn’t look shiny or greasy like some cream blushes. I’ve since bought Petunia and Gerbera and they have become my go-to blushes.
TOOLS:
I have a lot of makeup brushes and this is by far my favorite! This brush is soft and fine and the perfect size for blending eye shadows. I use this mostly as a crease brush and it works brilliantly.

P.S. The beauty organizer shown above is this one. I keep my everyday essentials here and then store the rest in a train case similar to this one or in a sliding drawer. I am still searching for the perfect makeup storage solution. Any tips appreciated!
